In a not-so-distant dystopian future, two lifelong friends and hospital orderlies devise a scheme to sell organs from a fresh corpse on the black market. But once they get their Jane Doe onto the makeshift operating table in their isolated warehouse, she unexpectedly opens her eyes…

Snatchers is a unique blend of horror, comedy, social commentary – and even featuring a dance number for good measure – where Hannah McKenzie is excellent as the sharp-witted and mysterious corpse who manipulates her predators into prey as they spiral through paranoia, desperation and questions of morality.

This locally made debut feature boasts a Canberran cast and crew, and we are thrilled to host a Q&A following the screening with co-director and producer Shelly Higgs; co-director, writer and actor Craig Alexander; and actor Hannah McKenzie.
