Our auditoriums are customised for optimal viewing experiences. Only IMAX uses acousticians, laser-alignment and custom theatre geometry to ensure every element is immersive by design.​

DMR​

IMAX’s proprietary digital remastering tools (DMR) allow filmmakers to customise and clean their images to the precise level of noise and grain so films look pristine on the IMAX screen.​

Sound​

IMAX Camera​

IMAX offers among the highest-resolution cameras available to today's top filmmakers, including a range of certified digital cameras and the premier IMAX 70mm Film Camera allowing them to create the most engaging cinematic films on the big screen today.

IMAX 3D​

Select films are screened in stunning IMAX 3D. The process employs two separate projectors, each displaying a slightly different image corresponding to what each eye would naturally see to create the most immersive experience possible.
