Catch a sneak peek of the powerful new drama from the director of Once Were Warriors and starring Guy Pearce. Set during the tribal Māori wars of the 1830s and stunningly shot on location in New Zealand, this gripping historical drama is not to be missed.

When Thomas Munro (Pearce) arrives in the tiny coastal settlement of Epworth in 1830, he finds discontent, suspicion and friction. After saving the life of a chief’s daughter, Rangimai (Tioreore Ngatai-Melbourne), Munro is thrust into political intrigue during the devastating Musket Wars between Māori tribes.
